Blantant Ignorance

Today was a day like most- people said some shit to get on my nerves, and yet another thing broke on the boat.

When we were sitting in the galley for lunch, a story about all the cows running rampant in New Delhi streets was on CNN.  One of the people at the table made a comment about how there are all these people are starving in India- maybe they should stop eating rats and dogs, and kill the cows to feed them to the people.  I couldn't help but get mad `cause the news strory clearly made it known that these animals are considered sacred by Hindi's in India.  It just re-enforced what I think about Americans...mainly, how inconsiderate and intolerant we are of other cultures.  This same person also went on the complain about the story on the 60th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  To make a long stroy short- I just wanted to punch them in the face.  People who think that the only nation in this world is the USA have no idea what it is to be part of the human race. 

In other news- working on a 40 year old submarine sucks.  The reason why it sucks is because stuff is always breaking.  I swear- this thing is a death trap waiting to happen.
